“I was present for the first time”
‘I was present for the first time’ was inspired by a conversation with Josh Connelly.
Josh was a drug addict and alcoholic, at the age of 26 and after being clean and sober for nine months he decided to take his own life.
When visiting his children for what he thought would be the last time, he wasn’t dwelling on the pastor preoccupied with the future. He was present for the first time, he felt his children’s touch and saw their love. He decided at that moment he wanted to live.
Josh is now an inspirational resilient coach and ambassador for Nacoa, the National Association of Children of Alcoholics.
